Mapes-Merrill

Dorothy Mapes, daughter of Mrs. Anna Mapes, of What Cheer, was married Monday, April 28, 1930, at Fairfield to Joe Merrill, of Oskaloosa.

The bride is a graduate of the What Cheer high school and for several years was a teacher in the rural schools in this county. She attended Penn School of Commerce and is now a stenographer in the Mahaska County State bank.

Mr. Merrill is a barber in Fred Lester's shop at Oskaloosa, where they will make their home.
