What Cheer Patriot, 1929

Saturday, February 9th 1929, at the Central M.E. parsonage Dr. S.H. Turbeville of Oskaloosa, Iowa, occurred the marriage of Golda Maria Albrecht, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Albrecht, of What Cheer to Marion Alton Raplinger, son of Mrs. and Mrs. John Raplinger, of near Sigourney. It also being the bride's mother's birthday.

The bride was beautifully dressed in a rose beige flat crepe and carried a bouquet of pink roses and sweet peas. The bride groom wore the conventional blue.

The attendants were: Violet Barnett and William Colbert.

The bride and groom are well known in and around What Cheer and Sigourney. After the ceremony they motored back to the bride's home where a six o'clock wedding dinner awaited them.
